Aya Healthcare has an exciting 13-Week Administrative Assistant Contract Opportunity in Paramus, NJ!
JOB TITLE
: Administrative Assistant
CONTRACT DURATION
13 Weeks - Opportunity for extension based on attendance, performance, conduct, facility need, etc.
LOCATION
Paramus, NJ 07652
SHIFT:
M-F, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
ONBOARDING TIME
Expect 2-3 weeks from offer to start date
Job Details:
To coordinate all administrative and office related activities for the Research Center and all Clinical Trial Activities. The Contractor will report to the Executive Director of the Research Center.
  • Coordinate administrative and office-related activities for the Research Center
  • Support the Medical Director, administrative staff, and department
  • Perform general administrative and secretarial duties
  • Take detailed meeting minutes and maintain accurate records
  • Manage physical and electronic records in an organized and compliant manner
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associates Degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Science, or related field or certification from a secretarial school preferred.
  • 1 year prior administrative secretarial experience
  • Strong minute-taking skills
  • Experience managing physical and electronic records
  • Advanced in software applications including WordPerfect, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively (oral and in writing)
  • Ability to effectively interact with customers to meet their needs
  • Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
  • Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule
  • Ability to set priorities, make effective decisions, and respond quickly to customer's needs
  • Ability to recognize and deal with problematic situations and to prioritize
  • Uses discretion in confidential matters Requirements (due at time of phone screen with recruiter):
  • Resume with last seven years of work history if applicable - all work history gaps of 90+ days must be explained.
  • Upcoming requested time off for the duration of the contract.
  • Interview availability for the next 7-10 days
