Description About This Opportunity All Office Assistant positions are hired through our float Pool, allowing you to train, shadow, and support departments with current needs. This provides valuable experience and exposure across multiple areas. Following this initial period, you will be placed into a permanent clinic based on your strengths, preferences, and organizational needs. Current opportunities include Orthopedics, Cardiology, Urology, Cancer Clinic, Pain Managements, Women's Health, ENT, General Surgery and Primary Care.
Summary:
Office Assistants serve as the first point of contact for patients and ensuring efficient clinic operations. Key responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and verifying patient insurance information. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, outstanding customer service skills, and be computer proficient.
Responsibilities:
Performs medical front desk duties to include greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, taking messages, sorting incoming faxes, processing mail, typing, filing, and photocopying Provide exceptional professional and courteous service to all internal and external customers Assist in maintaining the daily operation of the clinic Works with little supervision with ability to use critical thinking skills and utilize own judgment in making decisions Must be organized, have time management skills, excellent attention to detail, and able to multitask effectively Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma Minimum of one year of customer service, general or medical office experience or completion of a medical office program
