Job Description

PAX Health is a leading mental and behavioral health organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals facing mental health challenges. The Administrative Assistant provides essential day-to-day administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the organization. This role is responsible for performing a variety of clerical and office-related tasks, including managing incoming mail, organizing documents, maintaining records, and supporting staff with administrative needs. The Administrative Assistant serves as a support resource for the administrative teams, helping to maintain an organized, efficient, and professional work environment.
Responsibilities:
Open, sort, distribute, and process incoming mail and deliveries. Prepare outgoing mail, packages, and correspondence. Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and paper. Scan, upload, and file documents accurately and timely. Assist with data entry and record maintenance. Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and assist with general inquiries. Monitor and maintain office supplies, placing orders as needed. Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies. Assist with organizing and maintaining office spaces and common areas. Assist with copying, printing, and assembling documents and materials. Abide by PAX Health's Code of Ethics and model values. Other duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative or office support experience preferred. Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or medical office setting is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Reliable, professional, and team-oriented.
