Summary:
Provides administrative and project management services for Continuing Care Division's (CCD) Patient Care Services which include sub-acute, long term care, and adult homes. Administrative support includes daily tasks, reminders, and scheduling for the Vice President of Patient Care Services, the Director of Prospective Payment System (PPS), Staff Development and Clinical Program Director. Responsible for planning, coordination and implementation of special projects as required in support of the clinical leadership team. Responsible for multi-tasking, handling changing priorities at a high level of important and confidential Catholic Health matters and issues. Coordinates the needs of an executive office. Confidential interaction with professionals inside and outside the organization.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree AND two years administrative assistant experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Associates Degree AND four years administrative assistant experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
KNOWLEDGE,SKILL AND ABILITY
Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to a customer focused, quality driven environment. Ability to handle and maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive and confidential information. Knowledgeable of administrative practices and procedures. Knowledge of medical terminology. Possess leadership skills. Possess problem solving skills. Ability to accept and implement tasks assigned by the Clinical Leadership Team. Ability to work with little or no supervision. Ability to self motivate with multiple tasks in a demanding environment. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities. Ability to be flexible with work schedule. Efficiently and effectively maintain administrative office under varying conditions, despite multiple interruptions and multiple work duties. Knowledge of standard office equipment (computer, fax, copier, printer, laptop, & projector). Knowledge and proficiency of computer software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Achieve and Kronos). Typing - 65 wpm / keyboarding ability Valid New York State Drivers License.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal heat, good lighting space, and safe working environment; typical of most office settings.
