Job Description:
Siena University invites applications for the position of Office Coordinator in the School of Business. This highly visible role supports the Dean and School leadership while overseeing daily office operations, coordinating events and communications, and providing front-line service to students, faculty, and external partners. The Office Coordinator plays a critical role in advancing Siena's commitment to a student-centered, values-driven educational environment by fostering a welcoming, efficient, and collaborative community. Key Responsibilities Office Operations & Administrative Support Manage daily operations of the School of Business office, including purchasing, budgeting support, and facilities coordination. Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors and inquiries, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience. Provide administrative support to the Dean and School leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and confidential communications. Events & Engagement Coordinate School of Business events, including lectures, advisory council meetings, open houses, and student programming. Support outreach and engagement initiatives that strengthen connections with students, alumni, and external stakeholders Student & Academic Support Assist with academic processes such as student inquiries. Provide front-line support to students and collaborate with faculty and administrators to enhance student success. Communications Manage internal and external communications, including email, social media, and printed materials. Promote School initiatives and events in alignment with Siena's brand and mission. Student Employee Supervision Recruit, train, and supervise student assistants, providing mentorship and meaningful work opportunities.
Job Requirements:
Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems. Preferred Three or more years of administrative or office support experience. Experience in higher education or a business school environment. Familiarity with financial, purchasing, or student information systems. Experience supervising student employees. Competencies Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to inclusive, student-centered service Sound judgment and discretion with confidential information Position Details Reports to:

Pay Rate:
$21.41 per hour The hiring pay rate above represents the University's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law. Siena University offers a generous benefit package to eligible full-time employees.
