Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Rochester, New York. This role involves providing essential administrative support, ensuring smooth office operations, and assisting with day-to-day tasks. Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound calls professionally and direct them to the appropriate team members.
- Perform accurate and efficient data entry to maintain organized records and databases.
- Provide general administrative support, including preparing documents and managing schedules.
- Assist with receptionist duties, such as greeting visitors and handling inquiries.
- Coordinate office activities to ensure smooth workflows and operations.
- Maintain and update files, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support team objectives.
- Monitor and order office supplies to ensure availability.
- Handle correspondence, including emails and letters, promptly and professionally. Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Strong proficiency in answering calls and managing communication effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain records.
- Familiarity with receptionist responsibilities and customer service.
- Proficient in using office software and equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
