We're seeking a dependable and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our project management and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Project Managers with job processing from initial intake through production and installation Write up detailed work tickets and production forms to initiate manufacturing Assist in the shipping and receiving department, including checking in fabric, hardware, and other materials Prepare outgoing shipments and maintain organized inventory tracking Learn industry-specific terms (e.g., drapery styles, fabric types) to effectively communicate with clients and vendors Coordinate internal documentation and help maintain accurate project files Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and missing items Communicate clearly with various departments to support daily job flow Willingly take on additional daily tasks as needed to support the team and company goals
Requirements:
Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to work well with others in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Must be reliable and punctual — attendance and timeliness are essential Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with physical materials as needed Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with changing priorities Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office, PDF tools, etc.) Willingness to learn industry terminology and internal systems
