Job Title:
Office Assistant for Contract Position in Akron, Canada We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Akron, Canada. This position does not require fluency in English and is open to all candidates, including foreigners and those without previous experience. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, managing emails and documents, and providing general support to the office.
Responsibilities:
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Receive and sort mail and deliveries
  • Manage emails and correspondence
  • Create and maintain filing systems
  • Order office supplies as needed
  • Provide general support to the office staff
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Friendly demeanor with excellent customer service skills
