Administrator - Adult Day Program (Part-Time)

Part-Time (20-30 hours per week; flexible schedule)
Reports To:
Executive Director/Agency Administrator Position Summary American Primary Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and organized Adult Day Program Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our Adult Day Services (ADS) program. The Administrator will ensure compliance with state regulations, promote high-quality services, support staff development, and create a safe, engaging, and person-centered environment for individuals with developmental disabilities and other support needs. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in healthcare, developmental disabilities services, adult day programming, or human services administration. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations of the Adult Day Program. Ensure compliance with all applicable Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) regulations and agency policies. Coordinate admissions, assessments, service delivery, and participant documentation. Develop and maintain engaging program activities that promote independence, community inclusion, skill development, and personal growth. Supervise and support direct care staff, DSPs, and program coordinators. Monitor staffing schedules and ensure appropriate staff-to-participant ratios. Conduct quality assurance reviews and assist with audits and inspections. Maintain participant records and ensure documentation is completed accurately and timely. Build positive relationships with families, county boards, care teams, and community partners. Assist with program marketing, community outreach, and participant enrollment. Participate in agency meetings and contribute to program growth initiatives.
QualificationsRequired:
High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred). Minimum of 2 years of experience in developmental disabilities, healthcare, adult day services, or human services. Supervisory or management experience. Knowledge of DODD regulations and person-centered service delivery. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to pass background checks and meet agency employment requirements.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Human Services, Nursing, or a related field. Experience managing Adult Day Services programs. Experience with Medicaid waiver services and compliance requirements.
