Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Front Office Assistant to serve as the welcoming face of our Oral Surgery facility. We are looking for a person with an energetic approach and attention to detail to help create a positive experience for patients and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our dedicated team committed to quality care. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression while managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification processes. Schedule patient appointments accurately utilizing dental scheduling software and coordinate follow-up visits or procedures Manage medical records and documentation review, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive health information Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry etc. Provide excellent patient service by answering inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating strong phone etiquette and clerical skills Experience Prior experience working in a dental/medical office or clinic environment is preferred however will train. Experience with insurance verification, documentation review, and health information management practices is helpful. Strong computer skills.
