Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a professional and organized Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of the Chamber of Commerce. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently. Primary Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a professional manner. Greet and assist guests, members, and visitors. Process new member applications and maintain accurate membership records. Prepare and distribute member and vendor invoices. Log and track accounts receivable transactions. Maintain and update the membership database. Assist with meeting preparation, including scheduling, materials preparation, and room setup. Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned. Support office operations and provide excellent customer service to members and vendors. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous administrative or office experience preferred. Experience with QuickBooks preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Work Environment Professional office setting. Workday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Friday; some occasional evening and weekends required Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Regular interaction with members, vendors, and visitors.
Pay:
$36,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
