Job Description
Shift:
Monday-Friday 8a-5p Under immediate to general supervision of Crisis Coordinator or Chief Clinical Officer of Crisis Services, the Crisis services clerk aids the Coordinator and staff on the unit with day to day operations. The Crisis Services Clerk (CSC) performs a wide range of tasks to assist coordinator, staff, and consumers by maintaining organization throughout the unit. The CSC will possess the skills to maintain a higher level of professionalism, ethics, and interactions with the venders, outside businesses, staff, consumers, agency employees and external agenciesJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible and immediately supervised by the Crisis Services Coordinator This position is responsible and held accountable for the following duties, which may include: Utilizing their knowledge, skills and abilities the CSC will: o Ordering all consumable and non-consumable including medical and PPE products for the unit. o Knowledge of the unit and suicidal prevention measures are considered when ordering. o Maintaining inventory which includes decluttering entire unit, counting of products, projecting future orders, strong organizational skills. o Monitoring ordering to confirm all deliveries. o Walking the unit looking for needed repairs on chairs or Unit. o Knowledge of all aspects of the unit all positions and the functions of the positions o Ordering all employee mandatory clothing includes shirts and nurses' scrubs. o Tracking and shipping of biohazard materials from the unit. o Maintaining Materials Safety Data Sheets in book on unit. o Reporting all Crisis unit maintenance issues to Crisis Services Coordinator o Arranging repairs on appliances, locks and plumbing with other companies o Communicating with current and perspective venders. o Responsible for maintaining all vehicle maintenance, inspections, general cleaning, mileage logs, camera maintenance, phones, emergency information and the vehicle kits. o Communicating with all crisis nurses monitoring and recording the Nicotine Replacement Program o Knowledge of the inspections o Knowledge and trained on how to answer the crisis line. o Reviewing admit log o Reviewing the daily billing error report and communicating with staff on correcting errors o Creating and sending the daily VIOC program enrollment report o Scanning charts of discharged clients o Running untagged report for each staff and sending to them to complete o Answering email requests for billing lines to be unlocked o Reconciling petty cash account o Ensuring thank you cards o Reviewing Echo forms as they are scanned to 'all crisis support' o Reviewing ROI forms as they are scanned to 'all crisis support' o Assisting Crisis Leadership Team in training RSS staff with support issues o Recording minutes for staff meeting and ensuring staff who missed sign minutes o Assisting with ordering necessary supplies for unit Utilizing ongoing training the CSC may: o Assisting other staff on unit when needed. o At times CSC may have to transport clients locally. o Possess the knowledge of the unit policy and procedures. o Proactively engage consumers and possess communication skills/ability to transfer new concepts, ideas and insight to others. o Assist other staff in identifying program and service environments that are conducive to recovery. CSC is encouraged to develop specific competencies which will enhance their work skills and abilities. Identified tasks include (but are not limited to): Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or other management as requested. Employee must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel normally associated with this position. Participates in staff meetings. Must be willing to submit ODMHSAS Code of Ethics and Training Application, be approved by ODMHSAS to attend such training and meet ODMHSAS requirements before employment begins. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job requirement. Must meet "satisfactory" expectations at any scheduled job performance evaluation. Quality of work will be evaluated through training, skill, or special purpose. Must be competent and adequate. Must perform the specific job duties as listed above to meet position expectations. In addition, must possess skill in working cooperatively and effectively with clients, staff, management and other professional groups; in exercising mature judgment in dealing with people; in presenting ideas clearly and accurately; in reading and comprehending the English language; and in communicating effectively; both orally and in writing.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma and 2 years' experience required. Must have experience in purchasing, good communication skill, strong organizational skills, self-starter, Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Knowledge of food services, and menu creating.
