Job Description

We are looking for a dependable Office Assistant to support daily administrative and mailroom operations for an office. This is an onsite Contract position suited for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently as the primary person in the office. The role combines front-office support, customer interaction, mail handling, and accurate recordkeeping to help maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting deliveries, preparing items for shipment, and coordinating routine carrier drop-offs.
  • Provide courteous front-line support by assisting visitors and responding to general questions in a helpful and attentive manner.
  • Maintain clear and organized records of communications, deliveries, and office-related correspondence.
  • Perform a variety of clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, document preparation, and general administrative support.
  • Monitor office activity throughout the day and help ensure the workspace remains organized and ready for daily business needs.
  • Communicate with property or building contacts as needed regarding routine office logistics and operational matters.
  • Support shipping and mailing processes by helping track packages and confirming timely dispatch of materials.
