Carson has been synonymous with quality and service since 1938. Originating as a heating oil provider in Portland, we have expanded our reach across the Pacific Northwest, offering a diverse range of services including fuels, lubricants, propane, industrial solutions, HVAC and more. Job Function Responsible for coordinating install of technician routes Shared responsibility to receive communication from and assist technicians with help needs Responsible for facilitating monthly and quarterly month-end duties, including: closing all open install work orders for month-end billing closing all open purchase orders for outstanding material purchases compiling and submitting all inventory counts closing any credit cards that need to be processed Backfill where needed to keep operations moving forward Responsible for ensuring installations are ready to be executed, including permits, schedules set, and equipment purchased and received Responsible for billing out service calls and installations in a timely manner Shared responsibility of effectively managing large amounts of incoming customer calls, including taking orders and resolving customer inquiries Shared responsibility to identify and assess retail and commercial customer needs to resolve issues and achieve high satisfaction levels Responsible for the administrative processes related to the Service department, including troubleshooting or researching processes that were not closed properly
Other Functions:
Use internal systems and resources to resolve customer inquiries Support marketing through research and implementation of requested projects Assist in the formulation of sales proposals and/or marketing material to be sent to potential customers Follow up on sales, credit processes, and general questions or concerns Maintain and provide exceptional service to current and potential clients Other duties as assigned by management Skills Communication skills. Superior written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills. Organizational skills. Good prioritization of tasks and ability to function with frequent interruptions. Adaptability. Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes. Positive attitude. Positive-minded person willing to help where needed. Technical aptitude. Ability to learn client-based PDI, Skybitz, and other internal systems.
Education:
High School degree or equivalent
Training & Experience:
Experience in a related company sector Understanding of dispatching and communication with field personnel Work Environment / Physical Requirements Work to be conducted in an office environment May be required to drive in inclement weather Work involves moving boxes and employees must lift, bend, stoop, pick up, and move objects up to 25 lbs Work schedule will vary and may include work on evenings, weekends, and holidays due to special events, inclement weather, and other projects related to timely distribution of product and services Apply at www.carsonteam.com/careers.
