Job Description

Home Delivered Meal Coordinator Are you a compassionate, organized multitasker who thrives in a people-centered role? As the Home Delivered Meal Coordinator, you'll support the Meals on Wheels program by coordinating volunteers, managing daily schedules, and ensuring clients receive the meals and care they depend on. Requirements Ability to communicate effectively with clients, volunteers, families, and staff CPR/AED/First Aid certified or willing to obtain within 6 months Strong customer service, phone etiquette, and multitasking ability Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Detail-oriented with strong record‑keeping skills Ability to follow program policies and work cooperatively with a team Background check and drug screening required Duties Answer phone calls from agencies, volunteers, staff, and clients; share daily meal updates Make follow-up calls to clients, families, case managers, or emergency contacts Assign new clients to routes and maintain client records Enter data and update spreadsheets, labels, and meal counts Adjust routes/schedules and prepare daily meal labels Assist kitchen staff with meal prep, dishwashing, or deliveries as needed Maintain route binders, maps, and volunteer schedules Supervise volunteers who clean and sanitize delivery bags Train volunteers; assist with background checks and coordinate substitutes Track donations and submit to the CAT office Send and receive emails, including encrypted communications Other duties as assigned Schedule Monday, Wednesday, Friday — 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Part-time | Approx. 18 hours/week (includes a 30-minute lunch) Pay Rate $15.05 per hour QouxAGfwbY
