Job Description

Administrative Assistant Parmer Metered Concrete Parmer Metered Concrete is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly while supporting both our customers and field operations. We operate in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, so we're looking for someone confident, professional, and comfortable communicating with both office staff, operators in the field and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Receivable , including invoicing customers, sending monthly statements, and communicating with overdue accounts Handle Accounts Payable , including entering bills and maintaining accurate records Provide excellent customer service , with a strong focus on excellent phone communication Take and process customer order requests accurately and efficiently Assist with payroll processing Maintain and help manage DOT qualification files and support driver compliance requirements
Qualifications:
Strong customer service skills, especially over the phone Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working in a construction-based industry Experience with bookkeeping or accounting tasks preferred Familiarity with DOT compliance is a plus (or willingness to learn) Experience with Microsoft Office Experience with Intuit Quickbooks Have a comprehensive knowledge of the company's fleet including the technical specifications, capabilities and limitations of the equipment and trucks
