We are seeking a temporary Administrative Support professional to provide essential support to our client at Penn State. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technology-savvy, and able to quickly learn university software systems while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accuracy.
Schedule:
Full-time (in-person) Pay $28.00/hour
Status:
This is a temporary position (approximately 6-months)
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate program events, including planning, registration, on-site support, and post-event follow-up. Maintain and update spreadsheets, databases, files, and reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Teams. Prepare meeting materials, attend meetings, and record minutes. Communicate with students, faculty, and staff regarding scheduling, activities, and program needs. Assist with budgeting, travel reimbursements, and SAP Concur documentation. Support academic tracking, reporting, and semester data compilation. Coordinate travel logistics, fleet vehicle scheduling, and program-related reservations. Prepare correspondence, reports, and general administrative materials. Provide overall administrative support for two programs.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to quickly learn and navigate university software systems (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, SAP Concur) Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Prior administrative or office support experience required If you meet the qualifications for this administrative support role, please submit your resume to The HR Office or contact us at 814-238-3750 to apply.
