Job Description
Anthony J. Jannetti, Inc. is a full-service association management, marketing, and publishing company serving the healthcare industry and specialty nursing associations. We are currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support a national nursing certification association. This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in an independent work environment and brings strong critical thinking skills to complex administrative processes. Position Overview This individual will participate in certification and recertification process of members, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of applications and related documentation. This role requires a quick, hands-on learner who can confidently navigate detailed procedures and maintain data integrity. Responsibilities include utilizing a specialized database system to track and manage applicant information, performing accurate data entry, and preparing routine communications through Microsoft Word, and Excel (including mail merges). Advanced computer proficiency is highly desirable. No prior healthcare experience is required. General Skills & Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Proven experience applying critical thinking skills in previous roles. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and document preparation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to quickly learn a specialized database system.
