Service Coordinator 2 Braxton Way, Glen Mills, PA 19342 Hybrid work $38,500 a year - Full-time $38,500 a year - Full-time The Service Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating service operations within the lighting and electrical division. This role serves as the central point of contact between customers, technicians, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch service technicians for lighting and electrical maintenance, repairs, and installation projects Act as the primary liaison between customers and field personnel, ensuring clear communication of job scope, timelines, and updates Monitor service requests from initiation through completion, ensuring deadlines and service level agreements are met Prepare and manage work orders, service tickets, and related documentation Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment needed for service jobs Track job progress and follow up on outstanding service issues or delays Maintain accurate records of service activities, customer interactions, and job status in internal systems Assist with estimating, invoicing, and billing processes as needed Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service operations and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in a service coordination, dispatch, or administrative role (preferably in electrical, lighting, or construction industries) Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and service management or dispatch software Basic understanding of electrical systems, lighting maintenance, or construction processes is preferred Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Skills:
Experience coordinating field technicians or contractors Familiarity with inventory or materials management Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed
Work Environment:
Office-based role with frequent communication with field staff.
