lincoln, rhode island Posted 3 days ago Closes 9/30/2026 Job details Summary Spherion $19.00 - $20.00 per hour Temp to Perm 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Industry administrative & support services (Office and Administrative Support Occupations) Reference number S_177001 Spherion RI is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Coordinator to support daily administrative, reception, and operational functions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role serves as the central point of contact for front office operations while also assisting with documentation, reporting, marketing support, and health & safety compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and efficiency. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.
Responsibilities:
Front Office & Reception Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally Greet guests and maintain a welcoming front desk environment Administrative & Documentation Support Create, update, and maintain records, logs, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Word and Excel Perform accurate data entry and database updates Generate reports and assist with internal documentation needs Operational & Marketing Support ... Assist with scheduling, coordination, and office organization tasks Support marketing-related activities such as preparing materials and coordinating distribution Assist with special projects and day-to-day operational needs Health & Safety Compliance Support Assist management in maintaining health and safety standards in a manufacturing environment Help ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and documentation requirements Support ongoing safety initiatives and reporting needs Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30
PM Skills:
Previous experience in an office coordinator, administrative assistant, or receptionist role Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial office environments Basic understanding of health and safety compliance procedures in manufacturing settings Experience supporting marketing or internal communications tasks Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment Exposure to inventory tracking or reporting systems
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
