Job Description

Part-Time Front Desk & Administrative Assistant Do you love working with people? Do you enjoy being in an environment where the primary focus is improving people's lives, health, and function? If so, Joints In Motion Physical Therapy and Wellness may be the perfect fit for you. Joints In Motion Physical Therapy and Wellness is a locally owned outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice with three locations in Goose Creek, Mount Pleasant, and West Ashley, South Carolina. Joints In Motion Physical Therapy and Wellness has proudly served the Charleston community since 2011 and has built a reputation for providing exceptional one-on-one patient care. We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Front Desk & Administrative Assistant at our West Ashley location. This position is primarily an administrative and customer service role. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, is detail-oriented, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and professional experience for our patients. The position also offers opportunities to assist with marketing initiatives and community outreach projects. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Schedule patient appointments and help maintain an efficient clinic schedule Verify patient insurance benefits and assist with patient intake paperwork Assist with administrative and front desk operations Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the clinic Assist with marketing efforts, including email campaigns, direct mail, and social media Support community outreach and educational events as needed Help create a positive and welcoming experience for every patient who enters our clinic Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Ability to multitask and work independently Comfortable learning new software systems and office procedures Experience in customer service, healthcare administration, reception, or marketing is a plus, but not required Position Details Part-time position (approximately 18-22 hours per week) In-person position at our West Ashley clinic Primarily weekday hours Opportunity for professional growth and increased responsibilities over time Our Culture Outcome-Oriented — Results-focused with a strong performance culture People-Oriented — Supportive, respectful, and fairness-focused Team-Oriented — Collaborative, cooperative, and patient-centered Interested candidates should submit a resume and a brief cover letter explaining why they would be a great fit for our team.
