Columbia, SC Job Details Full-time $18 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Microsoft Word Record keeping Microsoft Excel Guest relations Phone communication Greeting customers Filing 3 years Databases Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Bachelor's degree Receiving shipments Clerical experience Appointment scheduling Entry level Client interaction via phone calls Full Job Description The Administrative Assistant, under the direction and supervision of the Vice President of Human Resources, will provide clerical assistance to the program and assist with managing the front desk reception area. Receive and greet guests, clients, and visitors. Direct clients, guests, and visitors to the appropriate program or department. Ensure visitors correctly sign/in/out of the facility and ensure clients and visitors follow rules/procedures. Answer/return phone calls, and route calls accordingly. Schedule appointments and assist with general inquiry calls. Process and manage in-coming mail and deliveries (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) Safeguard records in accordance with The Privacy Act. Update and maintain client files utilizing the case management database. Perform general clerical duties, to include receiving and generating emails and written correspondence Support agency activities.
Knowledge Of:
Community resources and services Programs and staff Population served Record maintenance practices and procedures
Skills In:
Communicating effectively orally and in written Planning and organizing program activities Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma with a minimum of three years experience or Bachelor's Degree
