Administrative Assistant
Finance Department STATUS:
Full Time- NON•EXEMPT
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to communicate effectively, both in written and oral forms; ability to work effectively with staff, consumers and families. Must be able to perform physical and visual skills as listed: balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing and visual acuity. Good knowledge of general office management and demonstrated computer experience in Excel, word, and other related software. Work closely with the Financial Assistant and Finance Director. Good oral and written communication skills. Successful completion of orientation program.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School graduate and three (3) years' work experience in administration, payables or similar fields. Valid South Carolina driver's license and good driving record. Pass all background checks, including drug testing. Knowledge of people with disabilities helpful
WORK HOURS
40 hours per week (Monday thru Friday)
MUST BE ABLE TO DO THE FOLLOWING
Assist with payroll issues Accounts payable Filing Be professional in handling situations Perform other duties as required
