Greenwood, SC.Job Summary A professional Front Desk Administrative Assistant is needed for a long-term contract opportunity in Greenwood, SC. This customer-facing administrative role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping visitors, answering calls, supporting office operations, and keeping daily workflows organized. The Front Desk Administrative Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and internal staff in a busy government and public sector office environment. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, a professional workplace, and the opportunity to contribute to a team that values reliability, courtesy, accuracy, and strong administrative support. Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
  • Greet visitors at the front desk, provide assistance, and route inquiries to the appropriate department or staff member.
  • Manage routine email correspondence and respond to general office inquiries.
  • Perform accurate data entry, maintain office records, and support document organization.
  • Assist with document preparation, filing, scanning, and other clerical duties as assigned.
  • Provide general administrative support to office staff in a fast-paced, public-facing environment.
