Department DSU-Library Services Physical Location of Position (City) Madison Posting Text Dakota State University is seeking a detail-oriented and student-focused Testing Center Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of the university's testing center while also supporting key library operations. This role is essential in maintaining a secure testing environment and ensuring efficient coordination of testing and library services. The position reports to the Director of the Library.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Proctor exams in accordance with requirements established by faculty and national testinganizations. Assist students in scheduling exams and accessing testing services. Maintain a secure testing environment by ensuring academic integrity and ethical behavior. Coordinate closely with the ADA office to support students with testing amodations. Ensure proctor certificates are current and engage in regular proctor training. Oversee the day-to-day operations andmunications of the testing center. Compile, analyze, and report data as needed. Maintain strict confidentiality with exam material and student data. Coordinate and process inter library loan requests, ensuring timely access to resources for students and faculty. Manage library purchasing processes, including accounts payable and receivable functions. Maintain the library's room reservation system. Oversee library travel and other administrative paperwork.
Kledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient in technicalputer kledge including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and other digital platforms. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent attention to detail. Strong written, interpersonal, and oralmunication skills. Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively support andmunicate with students, faculty, and staff. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
