Check-in Coordinator Job Duties:
Checking-in current patients in electronic medical record system (WebPT) and notifying therapist/assistant Initial evaluation check-in procedures including: scanning documents, providing necessary paperwork, updating WebPT, rooming patients and clearly communicating with therapists. Reviewing financial policy/insurance benefits, explaining to patients their financial responsibility and any limitations Reviewing cancellation/no show policies and fees Accepting patient payments and providing receipts Monitoring and working fax server email throughout the day (printing, scanning into WebPT as indicated, forwarding emails to staff) Maintaining patient charts, re-filing, pulling charts for each day
All Front Office Staff Job Duties:
Answering phones, document calls, cancellations, no shows etc Accepting and scheduling new referrals via phone Monitoring and calling patient no shows within 10 min of appt time with appropriate documentation Scan/fax documents per therapist request Opening or Closing duties depending on work schedule Monitor front office "tasks" and make follow up calls as advised by office manager

License & Experience:
Requirements:
Organized, Punctual, Dependable Able to effectively communicate with front office staff, therapists, and patients Team-oriented (able and motivated to work with office staff, therapists etc) Ability to multi-task with accuracy and efficiency
Schedule:
Our therapists treat patients from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday-Thursday and 7:30 am to 5:00 pm on Fridays. A front office staff member must always be present to maintain the schedule, accept payments, and answer phone calls. We strive to ensure a fair work schedule for all front office staff members while maintaining adequate coverage. This position is 5 days a week (40 hours).. Each full day has a 1 hour unpaid
