Office Assistant Job Summary:

The Automotive Shop Secretary is responsible for supporting daily shop operations by assisting customers, managing office tasks, and helping keep repair orders, communication, and records organized.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide professional customer service Answer phones, schedule appointments, and communicate with customers Create and update customer information and repair orders Assist with estimates, invoices, payments, and paperwork Maintain organized records and shop documents Communicate repair updates between technicians and customers Handle emails, messages, and general office tasks Assist with parts lookup, ordering, and vendor communication Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient front office Support technicians and management with daily administrative needs

Required Qualifications:

MUST have automotive-related experience MUST have knowledge of automotive parts and basic vehicle systems Ability to understand automotive terminology and communicate effectively with technicians and customers Strong communication and customer service skills Organized, dependable, and able to multitask Basic computer skills required Experience with automotive shop software is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced repair shop environment

Pay:

$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
