Job Description

West Texas Centers is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for the position of Administrative Assistant within the IDD Services Division. This position works under the direct supervision of the Director of IDD Services and provides clerical, billing, payroll, and administrative support for the division.
Salary:
$15.72 Position Highlights Monday-Friday work schedule Rewarding and supportive work environment Comprehensive benefits package including: Health insurance Competitive salary Paid holidays Generous paid time off Employee assistance program Position Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the Director of IDD Services Prepare reports, letters, meeting minutes, and statistical reports Maintain tracking files and organize departmental records Answer telephone calls and route messages professionally Manage office supplies and documentation Process and monitor HCS and TxHmL billing functions Review billing reports for accuracy and compliance Track client movement and maintain updated records Compile and process vocational payroll activities Coordinate with HHSC, HCS, and TxHmL authorities as needed Develop and submit required reports and documentation Maintain accurate payroll and billing systems Preferred Skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and clerical skills Experience with billing, payroll, bookkeeping, or administrative support Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Position Requirements:
Must be 18 years old High School Diploma or GED Must have a valid Texas Driver License and an acceptable driving record Must pass background check and drug screening
