This energetic role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office environment and is passionate about providing exceptional customer support. As an Insurance Assistant, you will be the backbone of our administrative operations, ensuring smooth communication, accurate data management, and efficient office workflows. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will help us deliver top-tier service to our clients and support our team in achieving their goals. Duties Manage front desk operations, greeting visitors and directing calls with professionalism and enthusiasm Operate multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries promptly, and route calls efficiently Assist insurance coordinator in verifying insurance and coordinate benefits accurately. Assist in collecting appropriate and correct insurance benefits at time of patient visit and any outstanding balances. Assist in posting insurance explanation of benefits and correct any claims needing resubmission or billing. Maintain accurate records through data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure compliance and organization Support office management activities including calendar scheduling, appointment setting, and personal assistant duties Assist with customer service by addressing client questions, providing policy information, and following up on inquiries Handle clerical tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and managing office supplies to keep the workspace efficient Use computer skills across Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace for daily operations Qualifications Office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and data entry tools Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to manage multi-line phone systems confidently Strong typing skills combined with time management capabilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
