Firm AdministratorJob Summary:
Assistant to the operations and administration of the tax department
Salary Range & Benefits:

Major Responsibilities & Duties:
Manage the intake, organization, and tracking of client tax documents throughout the return lifecycle Assemble and prepare tax returns and supporting documentation within internal workflow systems Monitor return status, ensuring timely progression and adherence to filing deadlines Coordinate e-file submissions, extensions, and required documentation with accuracy and compliance Provide day-to-day administrative and workflow support to the Tax Administrative Director Maintain and update client data within tax and practice management systems Serve as a primary client contact for document requests, status updates, and general inquiries Organize, scan, and securely maintain digital and physical client files in accordance with firm standards Support tax operations, including workflow coordination, process improvements, and administrative tasks as needed Work Schedule & Expectations This position requires flexibility in work hours, particularly during peak tax seasons. Significant overtime is not expected but may be necessary to meet critical filing deadlines and client needs. Requirements & Qualifications The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: Previous experience in a public accounting firm or professional services environment Working knowledge of tax return processing and workflows, preferred Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with tax software and practice management systems preferred Comfortable interacting directly with clients in a professional setting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset Team-oriented with a willingness to support others as needed For more information or to apply now, please visit the website below.
