Maintain accurate attendance records for the campus. Under direct supervision, perform data entry including attendance and Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data. Maintain attendance data in compliance with the Student Attendance Accounting Handbook (SAAH).Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GEDSpecial Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and databases and do word processing. Proficient in keyboarding, 10-key numerical data entry, and file maintenance. Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records. Ability to meet established deadlines. Effective organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.Experience:
Experience in data entryMajor Responsibilities and Duties:
Records and Reports 1. Collect and enter student attendance into student information database and verify accuracy of data according to established procedures. 2. Prepare and print reports, including attendance reports, class substitute rosters, end-of-six weeks and semester reports, and parent attendance letters. 3. Maintain records for student absence reconciliation. 4. Assist parents, students, and staff with questions regarding student attendance. 5. Assist with check in/check out of students during school day. 6. Compile, maintain, file, and distribute all reports, records, and other documents as required following established procedures. 7. Contact parents/guardians to verify student absences as needed and report attendance problems to designated administrator. Other 8. Assist in campus office and clinic as needed. 9. Maintain confidentiality. 10. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures. 11. Other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities:
