Office Assistant Verse Won Academy North Richland Hills, TX Job Details Part-time $14 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Teamwork Microsoft Office Specialist Filing High school diploma or GED Time management Full Job Description Position Summary Verse Won Academy is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Office Assistant to support the daily operations of our healthcare career training school. The Office Assistant serves as the first point of contact for prospective students, current students, instructors, and visitors while ensuring the office operates efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced educational environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Greet students, visitors, and applicants in a professional and welcoming manner. Answer incoming phone calls, emails, text messages, and social media inquiries. Schedule student appointments, interviews, tours, and enrollment meetings. Assist prospective students with the enrollment process. Process student applications and maintain confidential student records. Collect tuition payments and issue receipts. Maintain student attendance records and class rosters. Prepare enrollment packets, orientation materials, and student files. Assist instructors with classroom supplies and administrative needs. Order office and classroom supplies as needed. Ensure the reception area and office remain clean, organized, and professional. Maintain filing systems (paper and electronic). Scan, copy, print, and organize school documents. Assist with scheduling classes based on enrollment. Help coordinate graduation ceremonies and student events. Assist with marketing events, open houses, and community outreach. Follow all Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) recordkeeping requirements. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of one (1) year of office experience preferred. Customer service experience required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Dependable with excellent attendance.
Computer Skills Experience with:
Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Google Workspace Adobe PDF CRM or Student Management Systems (preferred) Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) Physical Requirements Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Lift up to 25 pounds. Operate office equipment including computers, printers, scanners, and copiers. Occasionally assist with classroom setup and student events. Work Environment The Office Assistant works in a professional educational environment supporting healthcare career training programs. This position requires daily interaction with students, instructors, and the public while maintaining a welcoming and organized atmosphere.
