Front Desk Assistant

Front Desk Assistant - Dermatology Clinic Richardson, TX Restore Dermatology Health & Wellness is seeking a warm, professional, organized Front Desk Assistant to join our growing dermatology practice. We are looking for someone who is personable, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating an exceptional patient experience from the moment patients walk through our doors. Responsibilities Greet and check in/check out patients with professionalism and kindness Answer incoming phone calls, texts, and patient messages Schedule and confirm appointments accurately Verify patient demographics and insurance information Collect copays, balances, and process payments Assist patients with intake forms and patient portal access Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office and waiting area Scan and upload patient documents into the EMR system Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow Handle sensitive patient information in a HIPAA-compliant manner Support overall daily clinic operations as needed Qualifications Previous medical front desk or customer service experience preferred Dermatology or cosmetic/aesthetic experience is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment Comfortable using computers, EMR (ModMed) systems, and scheduling software Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented High school diploma or equivalent required Required Skills Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations Familiarity with dermatology terminology and procedures Experience with EMR systems such as ModMed is a plus Strong phone etiquette and patient communication skills What We Offer Supportive and positive work environment Opportunity to grow within a modern dermatology practice Employee discounts on skincare products and cosmetic services Schedule Full-time 8-5 Mon-Thursday, Friday 8-1 No weekends About Restore Dermatology Health & Wellness At Restore Dermatology Health & Wellness, we provide personalized medical, cosmetic, and hair restoration services with a focus on compassionate care, patient education, and helping patients feel confident in their skin.
