BASIC FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY

Assist in resolving parent/student issues and concerns in a timely manner. Assist in managing student behavior in accordance with Student Code of Conduct and student handbook. Support of Administrative, Fiscal and/orFacilities Functions:
Process or coordinate processing of documents, records, forms, and work orders; assist in the compilation of reports; track, monitor records, purchase orders, and forms; maintain inventory and supplies. Use departmental computer system/s and enter data accordingly; follow acceptable, standard bookkeeping procedures; may collect fees and maintain fee collection records. Answer telephone and greet visitors; direct calls to appropriate staff or takes messages; makes referrals to other departments; pick-up, sort and deliver mail. Provide assistance to campuses/departments as requested.Organization Improvement:
Work collaboratively to improve programs.Professional Growth and Development:
Participate in professional development that increases effectiveness and improves District performance.School/Community Relations:
Interact positively with employees and the community to provide needed information and to promote the District in a favorable manner.Organization Morale:

Skill in providing information and assistance to assigned office staff and customers. Skill in maintaining records. Ability to prioritize and organize work responsibilities.ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent and one year of related work experience.PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS
Maintain emotional control under stress. Work with frequent interruptions. Use computer for prolonged period resulting in repetitive hand motions. Lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. occasionally. Sit for extended periods of time.ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
