Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position. High school diploma or equivalency. Ability to develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive records and files. Effective writing and speaking skills. Experience with computer software (Microsoft suite) and database management platforms. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree. At least 1 year of experience in complex secretarial or administrative work in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with federally funded programs or projects. Bilingual with Spanish proficiency. Experience processing Purchase orders, requisitions, and other financial documents. Job Description This is a grant funded position; continuation of this position is contingent upon continued grant funding. Reports to the CCAMPIS Program Director. This position is in-person on the San Marcos campus. The Grant Secretary performs complex administrative duties in support of the Director and program staff. May be required to work occasional nights and weekends. Job Duties Provide administrative support to program staff for all components of the CCAMPIS program. Process financial transactions including payments to internal and external vendors/collaborators. Maintain program files and review for completeness. Assist program staff with maintenance of program database. Adhere to and provide feedback on policies and procedures to ensure efficient office/program operations. Perform other duties as assigned.
