Job Description

Utah Valley University is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to support the Stronger Families Project, a meaningful community outreach initiative focused on improving family wellness through courses taught by UVU interns. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Managing Director while helping coordinate and support interns as they engage directly with families. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys organization, collaboration, and being part of a program that makes a real impact. The position offers flexible hours, with the expectation of attending a weekly Monday afternoon meeting to support administrative coordination and intern supervision. Intake calls and emails from community participants, tracking family registration, supervising intern recruitment of participants Weekly reports, gathering data on sites, creating final reports

Managing emails, website, voice mail inquiries, Facebook account Communicating with program sites, logistics of site functioning Purchasing and Expense Accountability Can be a current UVU student or graduate with at least an Associate's Degree, or any combination of education and experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling two years. Preferred Qualifications Fluent in Spanish is helpful but not required. Knowledge High level of professionalism and ability to interact with the public, businesses, educators, faculty, interns, and families. Knowledge of HIPPA regulations. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to delegate when necessary. Skills Exceptional oral and written communication skills particularly business email and telephone skills. Proficient on the computer using Microsoft Word, Google docs, Excel, and Social Media. Abilities Ability to take direction and work independently when needed. Able to work as a team member on multiple time-sensitive assignments. Ability to be entrusted with confidential information.
