Job Description

We are looking for an organized Office Assistant to support daily administrative and operational activities at an onsite workplace. This Office Assistant contract position that begins with a two-week training period at four hours per day before moving into a full time schedule M-F 9am-5pm daily. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing front-office tasks, coordinating mail and shipments, and keeping supplies and work areas well organized.

The Office Assistant position needs to be able to lift up to 40 pounds since the position will be handling all shipping and receiving. Handling heavy mailing as well.
Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day office operations by greeting visitors, answering incoming calls, and assisting with general administrative needs.
  • Process inbound and outbound mail, packages, and deliveries while helping maintain accurate shipping and receiving activities.
  • Organize, stock, and monitor office inventory and supplies to ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Prepare documents through scanning, filing, and other clerical support tasks to keep records current and accessible.
  • Assist with conference and meeting arrangements, including room setup and coordination of required materials.
  • Handle routine logistics support for incoming shipments, outgoing packages, and internal distribution of items.
  • Lift and move boxes and office materials weighing up to 40 pounds as part of shipping, receiving, and supply management duties.
