Same Day Access Navigator - Part-time (1334) (Regular Hourly)

We are offering a great opportunity for a part-time Same Day Access (SDA) Navigator to work between the hours of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. Responsibilities This position is primarily responsible for overseeing and enhancing the delivery of services to all individuals requesting services for a wide range of mental health, substance use, and development disability services and programs within Greater Reach Community Service Board's Catchment. This position also provides support and administrative duties to the Same Day Access program. Requirements High school degree or general education diploma (GED). Minimum one (1) year position related experience in data entry and office administrative support. Experience in behavioral health environment or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge and abilities. Valid VA driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Knowledge of
STEP-VA CSB
services especially SDA. Knowledge of office practices, procedures, and office equipment and technology in a medical or MH/SA setting; reimbursement policies, procedures, and regulations related to the supported activity; manual and automated filing systems; standard grammar; punctuation' and usage. Skills in written, oral and interpersonal communications; telephone etiquette; ordering office equipment; key- boarding and in operating automated office equipment.
Abilities:
keyboard proficiency; to computer applications involving data entry; data manipulation verification and retrieval; to maintain a reimbursement/fee collection system; bookkeeping; filing; and to organize work and make independent work processing decisions and to work. Experience with computer skills in word processing, data entry, data manipulation and verification; filing systems; office practices; reimbursement policy and procedures; in a behavioral health office environment. Ability to work in shared office spaces. Work areas are often noisy, irregular and unpredictable and can be stressful at times.
Preferred:
Three (3) years of position related experience in providing case management services and community outreach in a mental health setting with SMI population. Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace. This position is funded through a grant. Continuation of employment is contingent upon the availability of grant funds. Should the funding end or be reduced, the position may be modified or eliminated in accordance with applicable policies and regulations. Annual Salary Range Grade H-C4 $22.63 - $25.46
