Aug 20, 2026 Job Description The Administrative Assistant will provide office and clerical support to assist with the efficient operation of Arlington Memorial High School.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare reports, correspondence and memoranda, reviewing drafts and final copies. Type, collect and report information as directed. Respond to telephone calls, give information to callers, or route calls to appropriate staff. Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail. Assist in the coordination of special office projects and activities. Handle written correspondence, compose letters as directed. Schedule appointments, make travel arrangements, and assemble materials for meetings. Maintain student cumulative records. Assign substitute employees to classrooms and process all related paperwork. Place orders for materials, verify quantities delivered, and distribute to staff. Maintain an accurate inventory of materials and equipment. Interface with employees and the public regarding school procedures and information. Report unauthorized persons and/or damage to appropriate authority as required. Assist the administration with employee needs and concerns. Maintain a high level of confidentiality with personnel records and information. Attend District training as required. Support the value of education and the philosophy and mission of the District. Adhere to all District policies and regulations. Perform such other tasks and assume other responsibilities as the supervisor may assign.
