Job Description

Wallingford Eye Care is a small business in Seattle, WA 98105. We are fun, professional, customer-centric and our goal is to Provide excellent customer service while providing quality eye care and optical needs. .
Our work environment includes:
Relaxed atmosphere On-the-job training Safe work environment We're looking for an enthusiastic, bright, motivated and health conscious person to help keep our clinic running smoothly. We are a clinic that provides eye care, and optical sales of glasses and contact lenses. This position is an integral part of our fantastic team of provider and staff. Our office prides itself on great customer service and ensuring each patient has a great experience! We are looking to hire an employee who fits our high standard of care. Positive attitude, attention to detail, ability to take direction, willingness and drive to learn, dressing professionally, being a team player, and being computer savvy are attributes in an employee we are looking for. In addition, prior experience working in eye clinic, familiarity with contact lenses and basic optical knowledge is preferred. However, for the right applicant with great attitude and energy we are willing to train.
Position responsibilities are as follows:
  • Providing excellent patient care and customer service throughout the patient's stay in our office
  • Facilitating patient flow around the office
  • Greeting patients as they enter the practice
  • Answering phones, making and confirming appointments
  • Email correspondence with patients and vendors
  • Verifying insurance benefits
  • Processing contact lens orders
  • Collecting and posting payments
  • Assisting fellow staff members as needed
  • End of the day balancing of all charges and payments
  • A variety of other tasks in our patient care system that are part of the day to day operation of the practice Additional details:
  • Work days are Tuesday through Saturday. Those unable to work on Saturdays need not apply.
