JOB SUMMARY
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is responsible for the efficient and effective management of all operations and resources in the division. The CAO is responsible for the management of day-to-day operations including personnel management; planning, budgeting, and forecasting; policy development and compliance. Ensure high quality products and/or services to tribal members and the Tulalip community with emphasis on promoting Tulalip as a Sovereign nation, as well as a highly professional, culturally vibrant, and healthy community. The CAO position will provide executive leadership and oversight for service-oriented divisions, including education, family advocacy, elder services, housing, and related departments.

DOE MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED equivalent Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Education, Public Administration, Human/Social Services, Organizational Leadership, or related field. •Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
Ten (10) years of progressively increasing responsibility in operations management including but not limited to personnel, policy compliance, and financial management creating and maintaining budgets. Five (5) years of complex project management involving grants & contracts. Prior experience in strategic planning and execution.

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
Must be an enrolled Tulalip Tribal Member WA State Driver License. (Personal Auto Insurance Required) No serious violations regarding disciplinary actions or termination for cause in the last five (5) years. Must complete a presentation as a component of the interview process. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
This is a regular Full-time position.
