Principal Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Pass or Passed state examination for secretary or already attained secretarial status with a school system 3. Good communication skills, above average vocabulary, grammar, spelling and mathematical skills 4. Computer literate with good word processing skills. Literate in spreadsheets, Excel, graphics and database management software 5. Ability to compile and type complex materials and reports 6. Ability to do several unrelated tasks in a short time span 7. Ability to maintain composure in times of intense stress 8. Use of Oral and Written English Fluently 9. Interpret and Follow Instructions 10. Relate Well with School Personnel, Parents and the Community 11. Ability to lift 50lbs
Job Responsibilities:
1. Maintain positive work habits 2. Perform duties effectively and productively 3. Maintain and upgrade computer skills 4. Type complex material from rough draft to final form 5. Place and receive telephone calls and record messages 6. Maintain confidentiality of information 7. Maintain positive public and employee relations 8. Ability to process/send mass emails quickly and efficiently 9. Ability/knowledge to scan documents 10. Ability to perform mail merge(s) from database downloads 11. Filing of documents 12. Work with personnel in finalizing time sheets and doing summary of time sheets for finance office in a timely manner 13. Maintain budget/finance records 14. Prepare and process purchase orders 15. Keep accurate records for primary areas of responsibility 16. Participate in continuing education and/or other related training programs to maintain or upgrade skills 17. Ability to interact with the school community in a positive and supportive manner 18. Using approved book keeping methods for tracking any cash the schools receives or disburses such as fundraisers, field trips, sporting events or other school activities 19. Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor(s) and/or superintendent See attached job description

Employment Term:
210 day contract for the 2026/2027 school year with extended days to be determined by principal.
Salary :
Salary based on experience and education level per CBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation. Salary Schedules
