JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
PART TIME Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Advocate/Administrative Assistant Position is part-time with enrollment in Wyoming Retirement System and generous PTO policies.

Open Until Filled Job Summary:
The Advocate/Administrative Assistant will work primarily from the CIS Cody office and report to the Executive Director. This position is both an advocate and an administrative assistant. Crucial advocacy duties include crisis intervention, support services, safety planning, and referrals to survivors of stalking, domestic violence, and sexual violence. Responsibilities include meeting with clients, intake paperwork, sheltering survivors and their children, protection order assistance, transportation, accompanying clients to the hospital, court, etc., providing ongoing advocacy, follow-up case management and working with clients on housing, employment, and sustainability. The person in this position will track confidential data for reporting purposes, handle general maintenance and upkeep of the facility, as well as secretarial duties assigned by the Executive Director. This position is also responsible for conducting supervised visits, facilitating support group, as well as conducting community presentations. Required to take 24-hour hot line shifts as assigned by the on-call coordinator. (An on-call stipend is paid for hot line shifts.) This position also requires facilitation and participation of all CIS fundraising activities. The selected candidate must successfully pass criminal history, background checks, and DMV check. Must complete CIS 40-hour victim advocacy training within 90 days of being hired. Selected candidate must be able to start work July 15, 2026.
EOE Skills and qualifications:
Associate's degree in a Human Services related field or equivalent experience Excellent leadership and communication skills (written, oral, and public speaking) Ability to work some evenings and weekends Experience with diverse populations preferred Ability to work independently with limited supervision Team player Proficient use of technology, including Google workspace programs, Microsoft, Canva, and knowledge of social media marketing Must complete CIS' 40-hour advocacy training Valid driver's license and reliable transportation To apply, please submit a resume and cover letter to Executive Director, Alaina Doely at director@cis-park.org
