Yes The City of Conway is accepting applications for a Records Clerk (Customer Service Representative) with the Conway Police Department. This position prepares, maintains, and distributes law enforcement records while providing professional customer service to the public and other agencies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Enter, code, and retrieve information from multiple computer systems. Maintain accurate electronic and paper records. Process records requests in accordance with applicable laws. Answer telephones and assist the public with records inquiries. Prepare, compile, copy, and distribute reports. Receive and balance cash and check payments. Maintain traffic citation files. Process criminal background check requests. Scan reports for long-term electronic storage. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. 12-18 months of related clerical or office experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to maintain confidential information. Ability to type at least 45 words per minute. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, spreadsheets, databases, and office equipment. Ability to accurately handle cash and maintain detailed records. Maintain regular attendance. Working Conditions Office environment with controlled temperature and moderate noise. Frequent computer and office equipment use. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
