Primary Responsibilities:
Design and develop online and instructor-led training for local school and central office staff that supports the mission, vision, and goals of Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS). Oversee the planning of technology training for staff to support technology improvement initiatives consistent with the goals and objectives of GCPS. Act independently to determine when training deficiencies require new training programs. Design and develop training materials for online and instructor-led training sessions that meet customer requirements and are appropriate for adult learners. Modify online training sessions and existing training materials to meet the needs of customers. Analyze materials from a variety of sources and revise materials for appropriate inclusion in training and online sessions. Facilitate and deliver training in synchronous or asynchronous online formats. Deliver instructor-led training for local school and central office staff. Complete setup for online training as needed. Provide support in the collection and evaluation of data to determine the success and effectiveness of technology training opportunities. Utilize data to identify strengths and areas for improvement in technology training. Analyze and report effectiveness of online training sessions. Make recommendations for continuous improvement of online training sessions. Maintain a high degree of technical competence in the area of technology training applications . Maintain working knowledge of applications surrounding the student information system. Stay abreast of new technologies by reviewing appropriate periodicals and journals.
