06/11/2026 8:49 AM The Police Department is currently seeking to fill a part-time position in the Records Department. The purpose of this position is to provide general Police Records functions by performing assigned duties and tasks. Prepares, screens, routes, files, and distributes law enforcement and public safety reports and records. Assists with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests for the department. Looking for candidates with a two-year certificate from college or technical school, or equivalent related experience; Knowledge of database and/or records management software and proficient with Microsoft Office software; Valid Illinois Driver's License; and should possess or be able to obtain LEADS (Law Enforcement Agencies Data Systems) certification within the first 3 months of employment. Previous experience with FOIA processing is preferred, but not required Starting rate of pay is $24.92 per hour. This position will have M-F hours working approximately 30 hours a week. With those hours being between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Please review the full job description for more details.
