PM Position Purpose:
Clerical and operational support for School Administration in regards to scheduling and transportation, coordinating substitutes for staff, budgeting, directing phone calls, word processing, greeting people, requisition entry, student attendance, student registration, and other clerical work.
Essential Job Functions:
Copies and distributes documents and other materials (e.g., correspondence, bulletins, reports) for administrative, instructional, and clerical staff. Maintains documents, files, and records for the purpose of providing up-to-date references. Answers telephone calls and provides information and assistance to callers. Distributes incoming mail appropriately. Maintains inventories of supplies and materials for the purpose of ensuring items' availability. Completes registration for new students including transportation and schedule. Demonstrates the ability to work with staff, students, parents, and community members. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to perform arithmetic operations as needed. Ability to understand, apply and use technology and software applications (e.g., Word). Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information regarding students, employees, and others. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff, and others contacted in the course of work. Effective writing and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications:
High School diploma Prior successful clerical experience in a school is preferred. Skillful with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Aspen, and Munis systems. Spanish Speaking preferred Salary per Attleboro Clerical Association Collective Bargaining Agreement
