THE POSITION
Do you have a passion for helping others? Blair County is actively looking for a Clerk Typist 1 to help provide receptionist and clerical support to its Children, Youth and Families Department. If you possess professionalism, are able to perform independent work and meet goals by deadlines, this role is for you!
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Clerk Typist 1, you will be responsible for accurately preparing, proofreading and maintaining correspondence, records, files and reports. This position handles and processes confidential information with discretion. Incumbents will function independently, have flexibility and work under pressure handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines. You will maintain knowledge of office procedures and records administration. This position provides the opportunity to demonstrate professionalism by maintaining effective interpersonal relationships with the public, coworkers, and others.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Possession of the required knowledges, skills, and abilities.
