THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Network Engineer who is the ultimate "Ideal Team Player": someone with a hunger for technical excellence, the humility to support the collective goal, and the interpersonal smarts to collaborate across every level of our infrastructure. In this role, you aren't just maintaining a network; you are the architect of our ISP operational backbone.
What you will do:
Architect & Implement:
Lead the strategic planning, design, and operation of our wired and wireless networks, including unified communications and security infrastructure. Master the
Core:
Install, configure, and manage LAN/WAN and Telco/ISP equipment, ensuring our enterprise servers (VMs) and software support are world-class.
Proactive Problem Solving:
Monitor systems with a hawk's eye to resolve issues before they impact the customer, documenting solutions to build our collective knowledge.
Drive Innovation:
Assist in optimizing the network using DWDM, BGP, OSPF, and VoIP, while preparing us for the future with MPLS and Segment Routing. Be the
Technical Lead:
Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and the lead technician for special circuit configurations and high-level troubleshooting.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent experience); CCNA or CCNP certifications are a significant plus.
Experience:
At least 8 years of experience supporting complex LAN/WAN and Telecommunications networks.
Specialized Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routers, switches, VLANs, FTTH, and DSL. Familiarity with EVPN and Pseudowire is preferred.
Requirements:
Must maintain a valid Driver's License with a good driving record and pass a pre-employment drug screening.
