Working Conditions The position requires the incumbent to work 40 hours per week in an office setting, with artificial light and temperature control and must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time. Daily the incumbent must operate a personal computer, scanning equipment, reproduction equipment and telephone when working in the office setting. The position requires positioning oneself to retrieve files, and occasional light movement of office equipment, of less than 20 lbs. The position may require incumbent to travel to assigned geographical areas by various methods of transportation. Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview. However, they must reside in the State of California once they are hired and start working. Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee's monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of

TELEWORK
This position requires on-site training to ensure comprehensive on-boarding and integration with the team. Upon successful completion of the training period and demonstration of role proficiency, this position is eligible for one day per week of remote work in accordance with Executive Order N-22-25. CA Board of Occupational Therapy Department Information The California Board of Occupational Therapy (Board) promotes and protects the interests of California's consumers. The Board licenses Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) to work in California and investigates allegations of violations of licensees. The Board's highest priority is the protection of the public when exercising its licensing, regulatory, and disciplinary functions. The primary methods by which the Board achieves this goal are; issuing licenses to eligible applicants; investigating complaints against licensees and disciplining licensees for violations of the Occupational Therapy Practice Act; monitoring licensees whose licenses have been placed on probation.
